Thank you so much for visiting us. We are glass artists Valentin and Patricia Hernandez. You can call us Patti and Val. We live in The High Desert of Southern California with our seven year old son Anthony and 18 pound cat "The Mighty Ike". All of our beads are made at our home studio. We find much of our inspiration for our beads from the ruggedness of the surrounding desert. There is a hidden beauty in it's simplicity.
We are artists at heart driven by a true entrepreneurial spirit. We have years of experience selling on the internet, operating a number of websites and Ebay stores including The Goby Bead Company. Each of us have over 12 years experience in the glass industry, from neon tubing, sculpture, fusing and bead making. For the most part we are self taught with many "Well that didn't work" moments that have brought us to where we are today. We are always excited to see what the world of glass is going to show us next.
Operating our internet stores is our full time job. We feel so blessed to be able to stay at home with our son. The entrepreneurial spirit has had effect on him as well. He talks alot about having his own Ebay ID some day. "I'm a future Power Seller!" he says, wearing a power seller t-shirt we bought him at Ebay Live.
